Homebuyer Programs

IHCDA is proud to have made the process of buying a home a reality for thousands of Hoosier families. We offer programs that assist Hoosiers with making down payments, getting low interest rate loans and offering a tax credit.

In every county across Indiana, there are lenders on hand to help with all the programs we offer. Participating Lenders & Program Income Limits

In order to qualify for an IHCDA program, you must first work with a participating lender in your area. The lenders who are available to work with you vary by location. Please click on the link below to see IHCDA's list of lenders that service your area.

Framework Homeownership

IHCDA Homebuyer Education Powered by Framework 

Framework is an online homebuyer education course designed to prepare homebuyers for the complexities of buying a house and the responsibilities of owning one.

The virtual homeownership advisor guides potential buyers through nine interactive modules, including money management, understanding credit, mortgage loans, and life as a homeowner.

Completion of the course satisfies the Homebuyer Education requirement that is necessary for all homebuyers through the Agency's Single Family purchasing programs.

Included in the $75 purchase price, you will have access to the course and customer support for one year.  You will also receive a certificate of completion after completing the course and final quiz.

Note: For Participants of the Next Home down payment assistance program, the cost of the course will be reimbursed at closing.
