Introduction:

The Department of Energy (DOE), National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), on behalf of the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy’s (EERE) Building Technologies Program (BTP), is seeking applications under six broad Areas of Interest. Each Area of Interest includes several specific Technical Subtopics (which are described in further detail throughout this section) as follows: Area of Interest

  5. Water Heating, Residential and Commercial Appliances and MELs Technical Subtopic
  6. Solar Heating and Cooling (SHC) Technical Subtopic
