The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) provides $50 million to be distributed in direct grants to fund arts projects and activities which preserve jobs in the nonprofit arts sector threatened by declines in philanthropic and other support during the current economic downturn.
Forty percent of funds will be distributed through State arts agencies and regional arts organizations and 60 percent will be competitively awarded directly by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA.) If qualified, not-for-profit organizations may apply directly to both the NEA and IAC, but may only receive money through one source. See below for details.
For more information on ARRA eligibility and use of funds for arts-related projects, click here.
All grantees must have an active registration with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for ARRA grant funding. Log on to CCR.gov to register your organization or view account information.
Grantees will receive an email toward the end of each grant period with a link to the current Quarterly Report. Completed reports are available for review by going to http://iac.arra.in.gov/ and logging in with the username/password that has been created. Questions regarding online reporting should be directed to April Blevins at 317-232-1278 or ablevins@iac.in.gov.
