If you have applied with FEMA and the SBA and still have an unmet need, please take the following steps.

Step #1 Call FEMA one more time

Call FEMA and identify yourself as an Indiana flood victim. The phone number is 1-800-621-FEMA (3362). It operates between the hours of 8a.m. and 6p.m. (Eastern time), and those with speech or hearing impairments may call TTY 1-800-462-7585.

Step #2 Contact the Office of Disaster Recovery

Once you have spoken with FEMA and if you still have unresolved concerns or questions, call the Office of Disaster Recovery. The ODR can be reached at 317-234-4302 or at odr@gov.in.gov

Step #3 Contact your local Long Term Recovery Committee

Long Term Recovery Committees have been formed in below counties. Each Long Term Recovery Committee has slightly different goals and methods of assistance, but each committee is working with disaster victims in their respective communities.

  • Brown County
  • Daviess County
  • Green County
  • Jackson County
  • Johnson County
  • Knox County
  • Marion County

  • Owen County, “Rebuild Owen County Committee,” 1-866-239-0872
  • Shelby County, 317-398-1077
  • Wabash Valley (Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, Vigo)
